Students Sports Association of the State University of Novi Pazar was established in 2007. with the aim to develop and improve the sport, creating the conditions for student sports competitions, sports activities conducted for which there is interest and conditions.The founders of the Association of the University and sports clubs at the level of departments and programs.

USS DUNP is a member of the University Sports Federation of Serbia, along with USS Belgrade, Novi Sad, Nis, Kragujevac and Pristina, with temporary headquarters in Kosovska Mitrovica.

Through USSS our federation is a member in the European (ELISA), and the World (FISU) university federation. It is also a member of the USS DUNP Athletic Association of Novi Pazar and Sportkog Association of Serbia.

Aim and content of the Sports Federation DUNP is as follows:

• organizing sports competitions, events and actions that contribute to the popularization and the popularization of physical culture among students,
• establishment of university sports teams in various sports disciplines,
• performing professional research work in the field of sport and physical education,
• construction, maintenance and use spotskih facilities of the State University,
• cooperation with other sports federations in the country and abroad.

Special attention is paid to creating conditions for the development of professional sport, given the expertise, space and other resources which the University has the teaching and other activities in their programs of study Sport and Physical Education.

Since its founding university alliance is very aktivvo participated in various local and international competitions, inter-university students.
