The department offers required theoretical and practical education in the field of legal sciences on legal concepts and legal institutions, such as: property, contracts, the state, marriage, custody, settlement finality, validity, enforceability, and legal branches (such as Criminal Law, Civil Law, Commercial Law, Constitutional Law, International Public Law etc.) and legal fields such as public law (Administrative Law, Constitutional Law) and private law (Law of Obligations, Family Law, Inheritance Law), international law (International Public Law, Private International Law, International Commercial Law) and domestic law (Constitutional Law of the Republic of Serbia, Criminal Law of the Republic of Serbia, Administrative Law of the Republic of Serbia etc.), substantive law (Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Family Law etc.) and formal law (Criminal Procedure Law, Civil Procedure Law, Administrative Procedure etc.).
Students acquire general and specific theoretical and practical knowledge, skills and competence necessary for professional, individual and team, performance of legal affairs in state administration and local governments, public services and institutions of the legal system.
At the Department of Law Sciences the courses are organized at the level of Bachelor Studies (BS) and Master's Academic Studies (MAS).
