Within this Department there is only one study program, in Psychology which unifies the activities of higher education and research, as components of a unified process of higher education. The students are qualified for recognizable, socially justified and useful professions whcich are of general and fundamental importance for social development.
Emphasis is placed on the acquisition and demonstration of conceptual knowledge in the essential fields of psychology together with an understanding of the empirical fundamentals of the discipline, as well as for the indepedent application of statistical methods in the field of social-humanistici sciences and related disciplines.
The essential fields include the biological basis of behavior, cognitive psychology, psychology of the personality and individual differences, developmenta;, social and clinical psychology, as well as research methods.
At the Department of Philosophical Sciences teaching is carried out at the Bachelor Studies level (BS) and at The Master Academic Studies level (MAS).
